Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Cleaner to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal. Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces. Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas following health and safety protocols to ensure a hygienic environment. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms as needed. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all areas by using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment efficiently. Assist with custodial tasks such as replenishing supplies, organizing storage areas, and performing minor maintenance or repairs when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries politely and ensuring guest or resident satisfaction with cleanliness standards. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in residential cleaning, commercial cleaning, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable. Experience with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing is preferred. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment. Familiarity with laundry operations and housekeeper management is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Previous experience in customer service roles enhances your ability to interact positively with clients or residents.
