Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in one facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently. Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management or staff. Skills Proven experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including vacuuming. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
