Job Overview We are a busy restaurant and are looking for someone that cares about the place and is very details oriented. Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Handle cleaning chemicals safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures and using appropriate protective equipment. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to ensure thorough sanitation of floors and surfaces. Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture, supplies, or cleaning materials. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs or reporting repair needs to the appropriate team. Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed, including chemical agent handling for deep cleans. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors. Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Experience with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners is highly desirable. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe workspace. Previous work involving heavy lifting and manual handling aligns well with the physical demands of this role. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks or residential painting can be an added advantage in supporting overall building upkeep. Strong adherence to safety protocol guidelines ensures a secure working environment for yourself and others. Customer service experience is beneficial for effectively addressing requests from staff or visitors in a professional manner.

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
