Janitorial Worker

Job Summary Will be cleaning locker rooms mens/womens, toilets, showers, floors, sinks and equipment. Hours of facility are 5 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Person will work from Wed - Sun 8 hour days . They will be working in more than one facility as well. Need to have a valid driver's license and be able to interview. Will utilize company vehicle to drive to surrounding parks to empty trash cans. Parks are within a 3 mile distance from facility. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards. Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Operate floor care machinery such as buffers and polishers to maintain polished floors. Handle industrial cleaning tasks involving heavy-duty equipment and specialized cleaning solutions. Assist with facilities maintenance activities including minor repairs, painting, and upkeep of building interiors. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored; report inventory needs to management. Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning procedures. Support portering duties by moving furniture or equipment as needed within the facility. Skills Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning environments. Strong knowledge of janitorial practices, including floor care and industrial cleaning techniques. Ability to operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and pressure washers safely. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and painting. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning routines. Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the workday. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly.
