Job Overview:
Responsible for executing procedures and operating wash equipment used to clean bulk International Organization for Standardization (ISO) tanks and tank trailers according to company standards. Safely uses yard spotter and lifts to support yard and depot operations.

Full-Time Non-Exempt Schedule:
Works 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. On occasion, some additional work hours and weekends may be required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Maintains wash and heating equipment to established company standards. Conducts daily inspections and safe operations of all equipment. Cleans and heats ISO tanks according to the documented quality control standards to ensure clean standards are met. Assists with cleaning certifications. Manages chemical heel removal, storage, and handling. Properly completes and documents all cleaning orders. Reviews the safety data sheets (SDS) and verifies proper wash instructions are used for each specific ISO tank and product type. Assists with waste-water collection and treatment prior to discharge. Utilizes depot software system to validate processes and document cleaning data. Follows all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Performs other job duties as required.

(a)(7)(iv)(C): This position will receive Introductory Training of the Large Quantity Generator regulations within 6 months of employment and Annual Refresher Training of the Large Quantity Generator regulations thereafter.
Specific Skills:
Organized with keen attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess general mechanical and electrical skills. Good understanding of hazardous and nonhazardous waste disposal protocols. Knowledge of related state and federal regulations, including OSHA standards such as hazardous materials, personal protective equipment, material handling and storage, confined spaces, etc.
Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience:
1 year of experience working in a general industrial setting.
Possess close visual acuity to perform visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines; acuity to operate machines; ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, grasp, talk, hear, and do repetitive motion; and, exert up to 50lbs of force frequently and/or 20lbs constantly.
Working Conditions :
Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions such as temperature levels below 32 degrees and above 100 degrees for more than one hour; noise levels where one may need to shout to be heard; vibrations; hazards such as moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working in high places; exposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, oils, and other cutting fluids; requires wearing a respirator; and work in close quarters and narrow passageways.
