A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Seeking Custodians for logistics facility in Greenville, SC. $14.00/hour steel-toe or composite-toe shoes/boots required

Shifts:

Currently working Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm but eventually will be on one of below schedules: Sunday-Wednesday, 6a-4:30p Wednesday-Saturday, 6a-4:30p Wednesday-Saturdat, 6p-4:30a Sunday-Wednesday, 6p-4:30

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

General Cleaning - Restrooms, Plant Area, Break Rooms, Conference Rooms, etc., This is a

PHYSICALLY DEMANDING

position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas (make 7:30p-6am sure to bring coat): Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc. While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to: Removing and Bailing Cardboard Moving and stacking Pallets Floor cleaning Fork truck operation MUST be open to any task assigned

Qualifications:

; Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs. Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals Must have reliable transportation INDSJ
