Seeking Custodians for logistics facility in Spartanburg, SC. This is a janitorial/corrugate position that will require MILES of walking a day.

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project Able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment Other responsibilities as assigned This is a
PHYSICALLY DEMANDING
position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas: Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc. The Trash Tech is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the facility by collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash and recyclable materials. This position supports daily janitorial operations and helps ensure the site meets cleanliness, safety, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and remove trash and recycling from designated areas throughout the facility. Replace trash liners and clean waste receptacles as needed. Transport waste to designated disposal and recycling areas. Maintain cleanliness of docks, break rooms, restrooms, offices, and production areas. Respond promptly to spill cleanup and other housekeeping needs. Operate trash compactors, balers, and other equipment safely (if trained and authorized). Follow all Amazon site safety policies and company procedures. Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance issues to supervisors. Maintain inventory of trash bags and cleaning supplies. Work effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily cleaning schedules.
Qualifications:
; Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs. Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals Must have reliable transportation INDSJ
