Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Janitorial Supervisor to lead our cleaning and sanitation teams in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will oversee daily janitorial operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and promote a culture of excellence in cleanliness. Your leadership will be vital in delivering top-tier custodial services that meet the highest standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dedicated team while ensuring our facilities remain spotless and compliant with industry regulations. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including industrial, commercial, hospitality, or healthcare settings. Lead, motivate, and evaluate janitorial staff to ensure high performance, adherence to safety protocols, and consistent quality of work. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet operational goals efficiently. Ensure all cleaning and sanitation procedures comply with safety regulations and industry standards for hygiene and safety. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, sanitation levels, and adherence to safety protocols. Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, safety procedures, and customer service standards. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, safety incidents, inventory levels, and staff performance for reporting purposes. Skills Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles with a strong background in industrial or commercial cleaning. Demonstrated staff supervision and team management skills with previous supervising experience. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and team leadership. Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices. Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment. Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional custodial experiences in hospitality or hotel settings.
