A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Comfort Station Housekeeper:
Assures that the comfort stations are tidy, sanitary, and have all of the necessary supplies. Meets or exceeds Member service expectations. Works well with other team members. Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual. Performs other duties as assigned.The Comfort Station Housekeeper Will:
Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, showers, and sinks according to checklist and time specifications. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Transport janitorial supplies and cleaning supplies. . Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Dust and polish shelving, ledges, and equipment. Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to comfort station operating systems Observe precautions required to protect Hart Ranch Members property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Remove debris from driveways and all public areas inside or out. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and bathroom items. This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and qualifications for performance. The employee is required to follow and perform any other job-related instructions and duties as may be reasonably assigned by his/her supervisor. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays & special events as needed.
