As a Night Cleaner, you will be responsible for executing thorough cleaning routines, operating specialized equipment, and adhering to safety protocols—all while working independently during the quiet night shift. Your dedication ensures that our spaces remain spotless, sanitized, and ready for the next day's activities. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various facility areas. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. Conduct detailed sanitation procedures in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to promote hygiene and health standards. Follow safety guidelines rigorously during heavy lifting and manual handling tasks to prevent injuries. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with familiarity in commercial or industrial cleaning environments. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper chemical handling safety procedures. Ability to operate cleaning equipment including floor buffers and other custodial machinery effectively. Strong understanding of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts. Prior experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus.
