Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards. Conduct laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing. Maintain cleanliness of kitchens by handling cooking-related cleaning tasks and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Manage outdoor work such as sweeping walkways, maintaining outdoor furniture, or gardening assistance as needed. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or large cleaning supplies. Ensure proper manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury during cleaning tasks. Communicate effectively with clients regarding specific cleaning requirements and preferences. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow established housekeeping management protocols to ensure consistent quality across all assigned areas. Skills Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services. Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and dusters. Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely and effectively. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes. Physical stamina for outdoor work and heavy lifting activities. Customer service skills to address client inquiries professionally. Experience with housekeeping management practices for maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Knowledge of manual handling safety protocols to prevent injuries during heavy or repetitive tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
