Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks in a private school including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Handle and apply floor cleaning chemicals safely for tasks such as floor scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing to restore floors to their best condition. Operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, polishers, carpet cleaners, and floor scrubbers efficiently and safely. Assist with some heavy lifting tasks involving janitorial supplies or equipment to support efficient workflow. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in commercial environments is highly preferred. Knowledge of proper handling of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to chemical agents. Familiarity with various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, or willingness to learn! Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining attention to detail during routine cleaning duties. Strong understanding of environmental health standards related to commercial cleaning practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings.
