This is a respectful, quiet work environment that honors our nation's veterans and their families. Work is performed early in the day. This position is anticipated to start date of November 1, 2026. What You'll Do

• Clean and sanitize the public restroom, administration building, and maintenance building daily (about 5,000 sq ft)
• Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters, light switches, and door hardware
• Sweep and wet-mop tile and concrete floors with a bleach solution; vacuum entry rugs
• Clean locker rooms and showers, offices, and the employee break room/kitchen
• Empty, clean, and re-line all interior trash cans; take trash to the on-site dumpster
• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, seat covers, and air fresheners
• Clean interior glass, entrance doors, and stainless steel surfaces
• Complete and sign the daily restroom cleaning checklist
• Help deep cleanings each year (before Memorial Day and Veterans Day)
• Clean the public restroom on designated federal holidays when scheduled What We're Looking For
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or housekeeping experience preferred (commercial or government sites a plus)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with little supervision
• Professional, courteous conduct around visitors and grieving families
• Able to follow written checklists and safety data sheets (SDS) for cleaning chemicals
• Must pass a background check and meet federal site access requirements
• Reliable transportation to the site
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift

• $15.27 per hour
• $5.92 per hour health and welfare benefit (paid on all hours worked, up to 40 hours/week)
• 11 paid federal holidays (prorated by hours worked)
• Paid vacation after one year of service
• Paid sick leave (1 hour for every 30 hours worked)
• Company-provided uniform and all cleaning supplies and equipment
