Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all facilities are kept in pristine condition, promoting health and safety standards across the premises. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring quality and appearance Maintain restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met Handle janitorial duties with efficiency, including cleaning windows, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed Assist with light custodial repairs or maintenance tasks to support overall facilities upkeep Follow safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as scheduled or required Requirements Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or residential settings Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods including buffing and polishing, and general facilities maintenance Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and floor scrubbers effectively Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and safety standards Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and bending frequently Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us in creating clean environments that foster productivity and well-being!
