A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.
Responsible for supervising the cleaning of facility buildings and associated properties. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Previous custodial/janitorial experience preferred Previous supervisory experience preferred
