You will play a key part in ensuring our spaces are hygienic, well-maintained, and safe for everyone who enters. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers. Change light bulbs Remove all trash from offices, classrooms and restrooms. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation without risk. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and proper floor care techniques to preserve their appearance and safety. Restock supplies such as paper products, cleaning agents, and sanitation materials to ensure continuous availability for staff and visitors. Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Skills Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning with strong janitorial background. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and custodial best practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, mops, and chemical sprayers. Ability to handle chemical agents safely by adhering to chemical handling safety procedures. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling; able to stand, bend, lift, and move efficiently throughout shifts. Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed. Strong understanding of safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure working environment.
