We are committed to providing a clean, healthy, and joyful space where young learners can thrive. Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure that our classrooms, play areas, and common spaces are spotless, sanitized, and inviting for both children and staff. Your efforts will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our preschool environment. Duties Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and outdoor play areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment Handle custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to ensure a tidy environment Follow safety protocols when handling chemical agents used for cleaning and disinfecting to protect children and staff Requirements Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings Knowledge of chemical agent handling and proper safety procedures Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Commitment to safe practices in all aspects of cleaning and maintenance work Join us at Little Scholars Christian Academy where your dedication to cleanliness helps create a nurturing space for young minds to grow!
