Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe, healthy, and inviting environment for clients and staff alike. Your expertise in cleaning procedures, floor care, and custodial tasks will directly contribute to the overall appearance and hygiene standards of our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in diverse environments, from office buildings to industrial sites, where your skills will make a tangible difference every day. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain high-quality flooring standards. Execute janitorial duties with precision, including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health and safety standards. Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance as needed for larger or specialized projects. Support residential painting projects when required by preparing surfaces, applying paint accurately, and ensuring a clean workspace during and after completion. Operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain detailed records of completed tasks, supplies used, and any issues encountered during shifts. Requirements Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety protocols. Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Prior custodial or industrial cleaning experience is highly desirable. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, bending, and reaching. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or porter duties is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
