Full-Time Job Overview Coastline Resources is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor / Light Maintenance Technician for our client in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping a facility clean, organized, and safe and is interested in learning maintenance skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Extensive maintenance experience is not required! Training will be provided for the maintenance portion of the position. We are looking for someone dependable who is eager to learn and grow into the role. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required. Responsibilities Janitorial Duties Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors. Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly. Restock restroom supplies, including soap and paper products. Dust furniture, desks, shelves, and other surfaces. Keep entrances, walkways, and exterior areas clean and free of debris. Light Maintenance Duties Replace light bulbs and assist with basic facility upkeep. Perform minor repairs, such as tightening screws on cabinetry, door hinges, and furniture. Identify and report plumbing leaks and other maintenance issues. Use hand tools and equipment safely. Keep storage areas organized and follow safety procedures for cleaning chemicals. Assist with other facility-related duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance skills. Ability to use basic hand tools. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious. Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and instructions. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with a team. Ability to lift over 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Preferred Experience (Not Required): Previous janitorial, cleaning, or general maintenance experience. Forklift operating experience. Basic machine shop or lathe experience. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. What We Offer Competitive pay of $20.00 per hour.
