Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Conduct specialized floor care procedures such as floor scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain optimal floor appearance and safety. Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for mixing, application, and disposal of floor cleaning chemicals and other cleaning solutions. Operate various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, polishers, vacuums, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools efficiently. Execute manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance for accountability and quality assurance. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services with knowledge of floor care techniques such as scrubbing, waxing, buffing, and refinishing. Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, vacuums, and related tools. Ability to handle chemical agents safely while following environmental health standards. Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning results consistently. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; environmental services background is a plus.
