Job description Janitorial Technician We are looking for a person who: Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic. Is able to work alone. Enjoys being on their feet and moving around. Is reliable, friendly, and detail oriented. Has reliable transportation. Job Duties Perform assigned tasks on a timely and consistent basis following the building's task and frequency schedule. Tasks will include a mix of the following: Sweep or vacuum and damp mop hard surface floors and vacuum carpeted floors. Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms. Dust air events, work surfaces, other furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces. Clean restrooms including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors and walls. Replenish restroom dispensers with paper products and soap. Clean entrance glass and other interior glass and windowsills. Respond positively and promptly to customer work orders. Work effectively with other team members. Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies. Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum cleaners. Remove trash from containers and replace torn or soiled liners. Report building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor. Performs other miscellaneous duties assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and work history that demonstrates strong work ethic and responsibility. Ability to work independently and as a team member. Must care about quality. Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and carry 35 pounds. Physically able to be on feet, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, pull, push, kneel, and crouch during an entire shift. Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain); Walk and climb stairs. Must be reliable and have own transportation. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
