This position performs routine cleaning, sanitation, waste removal, and basic facility-maintenance duties while following company safety procedures and applicable OSHA requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize floors, walls, work areas, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and pressure-wash floors and other surfaces as required.
Collect, separate, and dispose of trash, recyclables, and industrial waste according to company procedures.
Clean and maintain industrial equipment and designated production areas as directed.
Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and other janitorial tools.
Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.
Follow proper procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report spills, damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an organized and safe condition.
Follow established schedules, safety policies, and facility access procedures.
Perform additional cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned.
