The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including floor care and industrial cleaning, while adhering to health and safety standards. Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure surfaces are spotless. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment safely and effectively. Assist with custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings as needed. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments when necessary. Follow established procedures for cleaning hazardous materials or spills. Experience Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is beneficial. Experience in porter services or residential painting can enhance candidacy. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
