Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary The Clinic & Pharmacy Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and compliant environment in both medical clinic and pharmacy areas. This role ensures strict adherence to healthcare sanitation standards, with special attention to infection control and medication-safe environments.

TWO DAYS A WEEK

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, pharmacy counters, and waiting areas daily Sanitize high-touch surfaces including door handles, chairs, counters, and equipment Perform detailed cleaning of pharmacy workspaces while following safety and contamination guidelines Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors Clean and disinfect restrooms and break areas Empty trash, including proper handling of medical and non-medical waste Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Clean glass, mirrors, and entryways Follow OSHA, CDC, and facility-specific infection control protocols Secure facility after cleaning if required Qualifications Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning standards is a plus. Experience in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is highly desirable. Knowledge of residential painting is beneficial for maintaining aesthetic standards in facilities. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
