Job Description

Job Title:
General Maintenance Hand Weaver Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of metal home furniture committed to operational excellence and a positive work environment. We are looking for a reliable and dedicated General Maintenance Hand to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in a hands-on role. Job Summary The General Maintenance Hand is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, vehicles, facilities, and grounds to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires basic knowledge of various maintenance skills and a willingness to learn. Occasional pickups and deliveries in company vehicles are also required. The position reports directly to the Project Manager .
Qualifications Required :
Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to learn and take on new tasks with training provided. Basic understanding of one or more of the following: electrical, plumbing, vehicles, pumps, or warehouse equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred :
Prior experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks. Basic knowledge of workplace safety standards. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Capable of standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
