Position Overview CBS Building Maintenance Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Day Porter to support cleaning and facility maintenance operations at a rail yard in Haslet, Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial floor care, including stripping, waxing, polishing, and operating floor-cleaning equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of assigned facility areas. Maintain floors through scrubbing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Operate floor-care equipment, including high-speed and low-speed floor machines and automatic scrubbers. Maintain clean, safe, and presentable work areas throughout the shift. Follow all company and rail yard safety procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Inspect assigned areas and report maintenance or safety concerns to management. Complete assigned duties efficiently and maintain consistent attendance. Qualifications Previous commercial janitorial or day porter experience preferred. Required experience with floor care, including stripping, waxing, and polishing. Experience operating high-speed and low-speed floor machines and automatic scrubbers. Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required PPE. Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.
