Primary Purpose:
Maintain the overall appearance of the Central Administration Building(s), including LLC, coordinate and set up meeting rooms, and ensure supplies are stocked for the daily operation of the central office facilities. Establish and follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to maintain a positive relationship with central administration personnel
Ability to read, understand, and execute instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
Knowledge of minor repair techniques for building and grounds maintenance
Ability to operate and lift cleaning equipment
Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies
Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Assume responsibility for opening the administration building(s) in the morning, turn on lights, and prepare building(s) for the workday. Set up meeting rooms for administrative or district meetings, trainings and special events. Move furniture or equipment within the building according to the meeting set up directions.
Supervise and monitor the work of the custodians assigned to the administrative building(s) for building cleanliness.
Coordinate with custodians and/or facility department staff for work force assistance needed for space set-ups.
Make sure the bathrooms have ample supplies at all times and perform repairs when needed.
Order water, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, etc… for administrative and district meetings.
Make deliveries to departments in a timely manner.
Report to Maintenance, through work order system, when there is a need for a repair or replacement.
Take trash out and provide cleaning services, as needed.
Comply with local laws and procedures for storage and disposal of trash.
Follow established procedures for locking, checking, and safeguarding facilities.
Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are clear for use and all door locking hardware are working properly to secure the building during hours of occupancy.
Inspect machines and equipment for safety and efficiency.
Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing.
Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.
Sort and deliver mail, including intra-office mail, to inboxes and/or offices as required.
Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervise the custodians assigned to the administrative building(s) to ensure building cleanliness and effective operations.
