Since 2002, AJS has been bringing our customers a cost-effective approach to cleaning and maintenance services to the greater Houston area. We provide our customers with the best care and services because of our constant training and supervision. Must be able to perform maintenance and repair functions at various facilities. Performs general repairs to property that does not require a craft/trade license. Assists licensed mechanics with electrical, plumbing and mechanical system repairs at various facilities, amenities, and other properties. Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and safety procedures. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid State of Texas Drivers License. Good (verbal/written) communication skills. Able to complete/fill-out written reports, records and forms. Complete set of hand tools, in accordance with department tool list. Ability to operate any facility support equipment. Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with tenants and staff. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, walking, bending, and standing for extended periods. Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm. Training will be provided.
