Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor care tools Handle cleaning agents safely, following chemical handling procedures to meet sanitation standards Use safe lifting and manual handling techniques when moving equipment or supplies Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly Follow all safety protocols diligently while performing custodial tasks Manage waste disposal and keep supply levels stocked Schedule & How the Job Works This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not employee status; you're free to accept or decline assignments and are responsible for your own taxes Scheduling, site instructions, and clock-in/out are managed through our scheduling and time-tracking platform Shifts are evening and overnight hours at assigned commercial client sites Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or industrial setting is highly preferred Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and floor care tools Knowledge of chemical handling safety and sanitation standards Comfortable with manual handling and safe lifting practices Reliable transportation to assigned client sites Customer service skills are a plus for professional interaction with staff or visitors on-site Join a team where your attention to detail keeps client spaces spotless and safe, every night.
