Pressure Washing & Exterior Cleaning Technician Sparkle Squad of Austin Lakeway, TX Full Time $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience Sparkle Squad of Austin is hiring a Pressure Washing & Exterior Cleaning Technician to join our field team. We work on both residential and commercial properties throughout the Austin area. This is a hands on exterior cleaning position for someone who already has professional pressure washing or exterior cleaning experience, is comfortable working at heights, and knows how to take care of customers and their property. We're looking for someone who is dependable, communicates well, takes pride in their work, and wants to become a long term part of our team. You do not need to already be an experienced window cleaner. We can train the right person on our window cleaning systems and other services. Our Services Our team performs a wide variety of residential and commercial exterior cleaning services, including: Pressure washing Soft washing House washing Roof washing and roof cleaning Gutter cleaning Interior and exterior window cleaning Water fed pole window cleaning Screen removal, cleaning, and reinstallation Deep track cleaning Post construction glass cleaning Paint and overspray removal from glass Driveway, patio, sidewalk, and entrance cleaning Commercial exterior surface cleaning Rust and oxidation removal Awning cleaning Other property specific exterior restoration work Holiday light installation, maintenance, takedown, and storage You may not perform every specialty service immediately. Training will be provided on our equipment, systems, and service standards. What You'll Do Pressure wash driveways, patios, sidewalks, entrances, commercial areas, and other hard surfaces Perform soft washing and exterior building cleaning Perform house washing and roof washing Clean gutters and downspouts Work from ladders and on roofs when conditions and company safety procedures allow Clean residential and commercial windows using professional equipment Operate pressure washers, surface cleaners, hoses, pumps, water fed poles, and chemical application equipment Determine when pressure washing is appropriate and when lower pressure cleaning methods should be used Protect landscaping, buildings, vehicles, roofs, and customer property while working Maintain and care for company vehicles, equipment, and tools Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, facility teams, and other customers Work efficiently and safely as part of a small field crew Assist with specialty exterior cleaning and seasonal services as trained What We're Looking For Professional pressure washing or exterior cleaning experience is required. We're looking for someone who understands that professional exterior cleaning is more than simply applying high pressure. Experience with some or all of the following is strongly preferred: Professional pressure washing equipment Surface cleaners Concrete and hardscape cleaning Soft washing and low pressure cleaning Chemical application Residential exterior cleaning Commercial exterior cleaning Roof and gutter work Equipment care and basic troubleshooting Window cleaning experience is a plus, but it is not required. Customer Service Experience Required Our technicians work directly with customers, so strong communication and customer service skills are important.

Working outside in the Texas heat Performing physical work throughout the day Working from extension ladders Working at heights Working on roofs when conditions and company safety procedures allow Performing gutter cleaning and roof washing Lifting and moving hoses, ladders, equipment, and tools Working around water and professional cleaning chemicals A valid driver's license is required. Candidates must meet company driving and insurance requirements before operating a company vehicle. Opportunity to Advance This position starts as a Technician.
