Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all areas are hygienic, well-maintained, and presentable for staff, visitors, and clients alike. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and experience in various cleaning and custodial tasks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere while developing valuable skills in facilities maintenance and cleaning operations. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or large areas as needed Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Assist with custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and minor maintenance tasks Support facilities maintenance efforts by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly Use commercial cleaning tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols to ensure efficient operations Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment Strong understanding of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various surfaces Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks with attention to detail and safety standards Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and supplies for different environments Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards Join us in creating a clean and inviting environment where everyone feels comfortable!
