Responsibilities Perform cleaning duties throughout the school premises, including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition Handle chemical agents safely while performing sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting following safe lifting practices Maintain cleanliness of classroom floors and bathrooms to uphold high standards of sanitation and appearance Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure environment for staff and students Requirements Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and sanitation procedures Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Experience with chemical agent handling and understanding of chemical safety procedures Physical capability to perform manual tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors This role is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a positive school environment.
