The primary responsibility of this role is general cleaning and upkeep, with additional support provided to the furniture warehouse team as needed. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean environment, is comfortable performing physical work, and is willing to assist with warehouse tasks such as moving, loading, and unloading furniture when additional help is needed. Basic maintenance experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Facility Upkeep Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, restrooms, common areas, offices, and other workspaces. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean surfaces as needed. Empty trash and maintain the cleanliness of interior and exterior areas. Keep facilities clean, organized, and presentable throughout the workday. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed. Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or areas requiring additional attention. Assist with basic facility upkeep and minor maintenance tasks as needed. Warehouse Support (As Needed) Assist the furniture warehouse team with loading and unloading furniture and other materials when additional support is needed. Safely lift, carry, and move furniture and other items. Help organize furniture, inventory, and warehouse spaces. Assist with preparing furniture for delivery, pickup, or storage. Help keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. General Responsibilities Follow company procedures and workplace safety guidelines. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition. Assist with other general tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, custodial, or facility upkeep is preferred but not required. Warehouse, moving, or basic maintenance experience is a plus. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail . Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Willingness to assist with additional tasks as needed. Ability to regularly lift and move furniture and other materials safely. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull while performing cleaning duties. Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies, furniture, and other materials as required. Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including varying temperatures, when providing additional support.

Pay:

$11.00 - $12.00 per hour
