Janitor - Kennel Technician

This vital role involves providing assistance to our overnight Veterinary Technician, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of animals in our facility. You'll also be responsible for the cleanliness of our entire facility.

Compensation:

$13 - $15 hourly

Responsibilities:

Providing assistance as needed to the Veterinary Technician Perform animal handling and restraint with patience and confidence to assist with feeding, cleaning, and medical needs Maintain the cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to promote a healthy environment for pets Clean the entire hospital, which includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restocking

Qualifications:

Prior experience with animal restraint is a plus Prior experience in cleaning is a requirement Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time, and the ability to lift 40lbs. safely Able to work on weekends and during the night - this position is part-time, offering around 20 hours per week. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2 am-8 am Excellent customer service skills to communicate professionally with clients and team members Animal handling and care skills rooted in compassion, patience, and attention to detail About Company We are a privately-owned urgent care veterinary practice in New Braunfels, TX.
