Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas are hygienic, sanitized, and compliant with food safety and industrial cleaning protocols. Your active participation will help promote a safe, efficient, and sanitary environment that supports our production processes and protects the health of all team members. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment, and workspaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and chemical agents. Handle chemical agents safely by following established chemical handling safety procedures, including proper storage, usage, and disposal. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to meet sanitation standards. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times to ensure safety during cleaning operations. Assist in maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety regulations during sanitation activities. Lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for thorough cleaning in a fast-paced environment. Experience Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning techniques. Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and proper use of PPE. Basic math skills for measuring chemicals and recording sanitation activities accurately. Experience working within GMP or food safety standards is a plus.
