Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning, following all safety protocols and handling procedures to prevent accidents or contamination Conduct sanitation of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health standards and ensure hygiene excellence Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting as needed Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting or manual handling activities to prevent injuries Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation (including floor buffers), and chemical handling safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and adhere to safe lifting practices during cleaning tasks Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocols Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties efficiently within scheduled hours Customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when necessary Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts Join our team if you're passionate about creating clean environments that promote health and safety!
