Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning floors, restrooms, kitchens, and other designated spaces, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners to maintain pristine surfaces Conduct floor care activities including buffing, polishing, stripping, sealing, and maintenance to ensure durable and attractive flooring Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and restrooms regularly to promote health and safety compliance Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, minor repairs, or painting as needed for facility upkeep Follow safety protocols diligently during manual handling of heavy cleaning equipment or supplies to prevent injuries and ensure safe lifting practices Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively in accordance with safety protocol adherence Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment required for comprehensive floor care preferred Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining healthy environments in busy facilities Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with staff and visitors when needed Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper manual handling techniques Join our team as a Janitorial professional where your dedication keeps our facilities spotless and safe!
