JOB SUMMARY
The Public Spaces Attendant (Custodian) is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of
the hotels public areas, laundry facilities, and exterior grounds. This includes regular cleaning of lobbies and
restrooms, assisting with laundry operations, helping prepare rooms for guest check-ins, and responding to
urgent maintenance or safety situations as needed. This role ensures a welcoming and safe environment for all
guests and staff. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous custodial, maintenance, or housekeeping experience a plus, but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance (e.g., laundrybags, trash bins, equipment) Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, mopping, lifting,and pushing Must be able to detect odors such as smoke, gas, or strong cleaning chemicals to help maintain a safeenvironment for guests and staff. Must have vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as the abilityto adjust focus May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, odors, dust, dirt, and varying indoor or outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
