American Equity is seeking a full-time Porter/Make Ready Technician for our 196-unit apartment complex in Prosper, TX, with the position available to start immediately. American Equity Properties, LLC and its affiliates own and manage a diverse portfolio of properties across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, including multifamily communities and pre-development land.

Skills and Position Requirements:

On-call availability with reliable transportation. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must pass a background check. Make ready experience a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely completion of make-ready units. Assist with cleaning the pool, picking up grounds, and cleaning common areas daily as needed. Actively pursue opportunities to improve maintenance skills through training. Conduct a daily visual inspection of the property, addressing any concerns related to the health, safety, and welfare of residents, staff, and visitors. Assist in maintaining an organized and clean maintenance shop with clearly labeled inventory. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to manufacturer recommendations and operating manuals.
