Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks in commercial, industrial, or residential settings. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to ensure high-quality appearance. Handle custodial duties in various settings including commercial buildings, industrial sites, and residential properties. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support overall building upkeep. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good physical stamina; must be able to lift and move items as necessary. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks. Schedule Overnight 5pm - 2am ( 1 hour lunch )
