Post-Construction Commercial Cleaner (On-Call)

This role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to contribute your cleaning expertise on an as-needed basis. You'll play a vital part in ensuring that newly finished commercial properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, setting the stage for successful occupancy and operations. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces following construction completion, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met Remove construction debris, dust, and residue from surfaces, fixtures, and floors using appropriate cleaning tools and products Inspect work areas to identify additional cleaning needs or safety hazards and address them promptly Follow detailed cleaning checklists to ensure all aspects of post-construction cleaning are completed efficiently Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) during all cleaning activities Communicate effectively with project managers or site supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services, especially post-construction environments Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards Excellent attention to detail to ensure no area is overlooked during the cleaning process Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods Good communication skills for clear reporting and coordination with team members or supervisors Reliable availability on an on-call basis to support fluctuating project schedules What We Offer $18-$20/hour starting pay Flexible/on-call scheduling Opportunity for recurring projects Growth opportunities within the company Team-oriented work environment Embark on a role that values your expertise in custodial work while offering the flexibility you need.
