We are seeking a dependable Porter to support daily housekeeping and facility operations in a modern manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll help maintain offices, common areas, and production support spaces by performing cleaning, stocking, and waste removal duties. You'll play an important role in creating a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities Clean offices, break rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste according to company procedures. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas. Clean entrances, walkways, parking lots, and outdoor common areas. Restock paper products, soap, coffee, bottled water, and other facility supplies. Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment while following all safety procedures. Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment as needed. Maintain cleanliness in designated production support areas. Report maintenance concerns, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment to supervisors. Cross-train and assist with additional facility support duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Six months or more of janitorial, porter, housekeeping, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus. Skills Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. Commitment to safety and quality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, reach, and climb stairs as needed. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in designated production areas.
