Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial/Maintenance professional to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of our facilities. This energetic role involves performing a variety of cleaning, custodial, and maintenance tasks to create a welcoming and well-maintained environment for staff and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic, ready to contribute to the smooth operation of our premises through diligent upkeep and facility care. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain a polished appearance. Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold health standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, and addressing minor repairs to ensure facility safety and functionality. Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized cleaning tasks as needed for large or high-traffic areas. Support facilities maintenance by inspecting equipment, reporting issues promptly, and coordinating repairs with vendors or technicians. Maintain cleanliness logs and safety records to ensure compliance with health regulations and company policies. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing cleaning. Experience with industrial cleaning methods or specialized cleaning equipment is a plus. Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs and fixture replacements. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
