Webster, TX Job Details Full-time $14.20 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Driver's License Full Job Description Maintain custodial equipment in a condition of operating readiness; performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance. Qualifications Education/Certification High school diploma or GED preferred Texas driver's license and pass MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility requirements for CCISD motor vehicle insurance Special Knowledge/Skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Bilingual - Spanish/English preferred Basic knowledge of custodial equipment maintenance Ability to analyze problems to reach repair solutions Knowledge of basic bench tools and concepts Experience Minimum 2 years equipment repair experience Major Responsibilities and Duties Assume responsibility for the safe and efficient operating condition of custodial and emergency response equipment. Perform routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and new installations. Document repairs and preventative maintenance utilizing current work order management system. Work with Custodial Equipment Repair Technician, Lead and Assistant Lead Custodians, Fixed Assets, and Maintenance Director, in maintaining accurate inventory of site based custodial and emergency response equipment. Travel to schools to facilitate repairs, preventative maintenance, and/or train custodial staff in proper operating procedures based on manufacturer's recommendations. Work in cooperation with Maintenance Supervisors in maintaining the district's preventive maintenance and energy management programs. Participate in district Standard Reunification Protocol as directed by the Incident Commander or designee. Demonstrate integrity and ethics. Be available for after-hours demands. Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers. Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met. Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal). Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
