Environmental Services Technician

Parkview Hospital is seeking a dependable and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to join our team! This essential role helps ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Position Summary The EVS Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary hospital environment. This includes cleaning patient rooms and clinical areas, handling linen, and supporting daily operations across the facility. This is an entry-level position with on-the job training provided. Education High School Diploma Experience Entry-Level position; no prior experience needed No technical training required No licensure or certification required Physical & Mental Requirements Intermediate walking, sitting, and standing Bending, stooping, climbing & reaching Pushing and pulling carts or vacuums Lifting items up to 50 pounds Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Working in warm, humid areas with occasional higher-than-normal noise levels Working with steam, hot water, & strong chemicals Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Key Responsibilities Cleans and disinfects patients rooms, nursing areas, and other assigned spaces Collect soiled linen Washes, dries, and prepares linen for re-issue Delivers clean linen to hospital departments Follow aseptic procedures and precautions with handling potentially infectious materials Follow all hospitals safety guidelines and policies Perform various other duties as assigned Must be willing to adapt and assist with additional tasks as needed Must be available for on-call duty when scheduled How to Apply Interested applicants may submit their application in person at the Parkview Hospital front desk of through Indeed.
