In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of school facilities, ensuring a healthy and safe environment that promotes learning and growth. Your efforts will directly contribute to the positive experience of everyone who walks through our doors. Duties Depending on the area assigned, you may perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies Conduct detailed floor care including sweeping, mopping and vacuuming of hard surface or carpeted floors Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, furniture, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in a school or commercial setting is preferred but not required Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques and cleaning methods is a plus Ability to learn safety procedures related to public school cleaning environments Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards Embark on a rewarding career where your work makes a real difference!
