We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Custodian to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage custodial staff, coordinate cleaning schedules. Duties Supervise and train custodial staff to ensure proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols are followed. Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping and the most basic cleanings services. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with health and safety standards by OSHA. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. Coordinate commercial cleaning operations for larger projects or special events. Provide porter services as required, assisting with the equipment within the facility. Skills Strong knowledge of custodial practices including commercial cleaning techniques. Ability to manage time efficiently while prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and management. Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus, with an understanding of basic repair techniques being beneficial.
