Spanish Fork, UT Status:
Part-time Hours:
Monday-Friday; 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Pay/Salary:
$15.00 /Hour Summary As a Custodian, you play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors. Your work supports a positive learning atmosphere and contributes directly to the success of the college community. By maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of campus facilities, you help ensure students can focus on learning in a healthy, organized environment. This position will begin at our Spanish Fork Campus, and move to our new Payson Campus late 2026. Why Work with Us?

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Custodian include, but are not limited to: Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas of the building, including classrooms, offices, labs, conference rooms, common areas, dining and serving spaces, stairways, and lobbies. Perform routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and vacuuming floors; clean and sanitize restrooms and other high-traffic areas. Ensure proper, safe handling of chemicals and cleanup of biohazardous materials in accordance with health and safety guidelines; maintain accurate SDS documentation for all custodial products. Secure windows and doors in all designated areas at the end of the shift or as required. Identify and report any maintenance needs, including lighting, heating, or ventilation issues, to the Custodial Lead. Contribute to a culture of cleanliness, safety, and respect across campus facilities.

Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or the equivalent.
Experience:
At least six months of relevant custodial or facility maintenance experience preferred.
Dependability:
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently. Willingness to adapt to changing assignments and building needs.
Safety Knowledge:
Familiarity with safe cleaning practices, chemical handling, and biohazard protocols.
Team Player:
