What they do
A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Overlake Elementary School Closing Date:
Open Until Filled Position Purpose Under the direct supervision of the building principal, to provide daily opportunities for structured recess activities for grades K-6. Will also cover lunch duty for grades 1- 6. This position may also require assisting teachers in the classroom with literacy interventions. Essential Job Functions
- Establishing and reinforcing cooperation and teamwork
- Overseeing safe usage of all equipment

Qualifications Profile:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:- High School diploma or equivalent.
