A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description
Randolph-Macon College invites applications for a full-time Custodian to join our Custodial Team. Responsibilities Cleaning of academic, administrative, and student housing areas. Qualifications High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license required with satisfactory motor vehicle record by insurance standards. Lifting or moving of materials up to 50lbs is required. Applicants with cleaning experience and familiarity with associated equipment is preferred. Schedule Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm. Required to be on-call one week out of the month. Position is deemed as Essential Personnel, requiring availability during emergency situations or periods of disruption.
